PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Interior renovation
DESIGNER
Cristofori Santi Architetti, architectural firm, Milan
YEAR
2021-2022
The design idea behind this interior renovation was to use surfacing materials that would create a stylish backdrop to set off the garments on display.
In line with this underlying concept, the marble-effect slabs from the Infinito 2.0 collection by Ceramica Fondovalle, laid in the Calacatta White option, helped create exceptionally striking interiors.
The use of a single material in the 160×320 cm Bookmatch version on the floors and the 120×278 cm version on the walls was fundamental in infusing the spaces of the Bosideng Fashion Store with an elegant, refined mood. Marble has always been considered a symbol of prestige and beauty and these slabs faithfully reproduce its distinctive pattern, including veins, shading, and colours.
The use of one colour only within the building helped create a visual continuity and aesthetic consistency that emphasise the modern design of the rooms. The designer surfacing of the Infinito 2.0 collection extends throughout the store, unifying the interiors and creating harmonious visual effects. This consistent, minimalist design fits perfectly with the elegant, contemporary aesthetic of the Bosideng Fashion Store.
In addition to their irrefutable beauty, marble-effect tiles also offer practical advantages. Ceramic is a strong, durable, and easy-to-clean material, which makes it the ideal choice for a high-footfall commercial environment such as a fashion store.

Le Marzoline restaurant
Le Marzoline restaurant, in the attractive context of Palazzo di Varignana, offers not just a wonderful food and wine experience but also the entrée into a world of relaxation. The architectural beauty of Palazzo di Varignana creates a unique backdrop which blends seamlessly into the mood created in the restaurant itself.
The owners chose to embrace the elegance and hospitable warm of the wood-look slabs of the Ceramica Fondovalle Komi collection to create an exciting, refined culinary adventure.

Les Jardins de Madeleine
In the north-eastern tip of France on the west bank of the Rhine river, near the border with Germany and Switzerland lies Alsace, a crossover of cultures which is one of the smallest but also most fascinating regions of France.
Bernardvillé extends along the legendary Route des Vins, or the Wine Route, in a natural, perfectly preserved panoramic route consisting of 170 km of vineyards. In this area stands the Domaine Les jardins de Madeleine wine estate.Komi -
Lucky Loore
Small but full of life, provincial but steeped in history, and filled with tourist attractions, Tartu is held to be the 'spiritual' capital of Estonia and is also home to one of the oldest universities in Northern Europe, with students making up one seventh of the city's population.

ALEJA shopping centre in Ljubljana
The Aleja shopping centre was constructed with materials of the very highest quality. Ceramica Fondovalle was chosen to cover the interiors of the delicatessen sector of the Interspar hypermarket with concrete effect porcelain stoneware tiles from the Portland collection, in Lassen colour and 120x60 size.
Thanks to the striking patterning which resembles hand-trowelled concrete, the overall visual impact is extremely attractive. The simple, neutral colour adds value to the location, transforming the area into a small corner to be savoured with the eyes.

bakery & hotel (BED-BIKE-BREAD)
Located in the tourist village of Csopak, in Hungary, Buborék Csopak offers a cosy place for cyclists and nature walk enthusiasts to stay all year round, accompanied by various other services (BED-BIKE-BREAD). The building was completely refurbished in June 2022 to create a location that houses not only a bakery, but also a bike shop and a hotel. The upper floor has been repurposed to provide a comfortable place where travellers can stay the night and recharge their batteries (in more ways than one!).
What architects Eszter Bertóty and Edit Móder were aiming for was to create a space that was both functional and inviting, featuring a clean contemporary design born from a fusion of Scandinavian and Mediterranean moods.
Bathed in neutral tones, the interiors are furnished with modern furniture with natural materials predominating throughout. Inside the building then, the bakery's characteristic counter, the fireplace, and the bathrooms walls are all tiled with Ceramica Fondovalle porcelain stoneware from the Res Art collection, in the Talc, Pottery and Mud shades.Res art
